I love and hate Spring... Love it cuz it's warmer than Winter... Hate it cuz it's unpredictable... And unpredictable weather often makes me get sick... But I've been a good girl about taking my vitamin C, so hopefully I won't get sick this year!
I've got nothing to say... Which would be why I haven't written anything in SO long. My life has settled into another rut, and there's no point in writing about the same things every day, so I just don't post anymore. For anyone who doesn't know, I now have my business license and work from home assembling electronic parts (computer boards/chips/etc.). I go to the shop two days a week, one to "kit up" (get all the parts together for that weeks' jobs) and again on Friday to turn in my completed work. Nothing terribly exciting, but it keeps some money coming in... Which we need since we're looking for a new place to live, just the three of us (Sal has decided to move in with another friend of his once our lease is up this year).
To that effect, we're looking for a house to rent in the same area we're living in now, since this is where our jobs are, our doctors are... Everthing and everyone we need to get to with relative ease has become centrally located around Sunnyvale. We've found one house we're hoping to get to see this coming weekend that looks like what we're looking for (3 bedroom, 2 bath house w/ back yard), and will be coming up for rent May 1st, which would be absolutely perfect if we can get it, cuz that would overlap with our lease (ends at the end of May) enough that we can comfortably move from the old place to the new place without having to go to a month-to-month rental basis. I just hope it all works out! *crosses fingers*
Haley is now 5-and-a-half months old and you wouldn't believe the changes in her!! Well, if you've got kids you would, but if you don't... :D
She's rolling over from front-to-back AND back-to-front, she *loves* to stand up, she's almost sitting unsupported (but not quite, just yet), she babbles and coos constantly, she's now almost 26 inches tall and somewhere between 14 and 15 pounds (don't know excactly cuz my scale isn't as accurate as Dr. Lee's... But she's got her 6-month check-up on 4/13, so we'll know then), she's *deffinately* teething (which means we haven't gotten a good nights' sleep in WEEKS)... She's becoming quite the little individual and is starting to develop a deffinate personality. She's very bright, and interested in the world around her. She still loves meeting new people, but now tends to like to do it from the safety of the arms of someone she knows.
And that's it for this edition of my LJ...
Hope all is well with all y'all! :D
