A Good Day, for several Reasons

Apr 18, 2005 20:33

Before School: Katelyn picked me up and Jazzy jumped into the Jeep without having to be persuaded a lot.
Speech: repitition and stuff.
Study Halls 1/2: see previous entry.
Film: more Breakfast at Tiffany's. The plot thickens.
Apgap: discussed government jobs and agencies and commissions and stuff.
Lunch: talked about prom amoung other things. Our plans are pretty much finalized.
Chorus: Mr. Farrell did grades and we just sat there.
English: did Heart of Darkness multiple choices and Graham gave us the sheets on our research paper, a humongous pile of them. We have to pick a work we've read over the past four years and talk about lit crit and character epiphanies and stuff like that. I'm doing my favorite book from high school: Red Sky at Morning.
Folklore: more Hobbit, including a quiz.
Stayed after school with Judi to finally learn how to use the Victor Reader, a CD player-like device that reads digital books that RFB and D puts out. Will be reading In Our Defense on there for Apgap. And soon before I was leaving, David the tech guy showed up with a loner Braille Note for me. Apparently he had one sitting around after all. So I'm really happy that's back, though I will kind of miss the Braille lite 2000 which I was playing Hangman on all day. Then I came home, changed out of my uniform, and hung out on my swing reading and listening to music. Now I'm here. NOthing else to say I guess.

tech stuff, schooldays
