Yeah well try playing the clairnet while wearing those things. Very Irritating! Are you getting braces or did you just get them taken off? I had my retainer for a good year. After I lost the one, and moved, they told me my teeth were pretty much locked straight where I didn't need it. Just be happy you don't get to wear those uncomfortable head gears that they almost put my sister on.

Ooh that does sound bad. I never keep it in when I'm singing because I can't open my mouth very far with it in. And I got my braces off last year.
