It's about time I updated isn't it?
Talking to Little Kids: went to my old elementary school on Thursday to give presentations to fourth and fifth grade classes about blindness and guide dogs and stuff. Went a lot better than I thought it would. The kids seemed genuinely interested in me and Jazzy and the stuff I brought in to show them, and fortunateluy no one asked any really stupid questions. Plus it was really nice seeing some of my old teachers again. Next month I'll be going in to talk to some kindergartners.
The Date: is happening in only about two hours. In about two hours I'll be sitting with Matt in the Seafford movie theater watching Guess Who? After that we're walking over to the diner to grab a snack and talk. Hopefully the terrible rain they've predicted won't be all that bad. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm kind of nervous. I hope we'll be able to find something to talk about. God, just writing about it makes me more nervous.
Rejection: the sad part of this entry. I got rejected from Swarthmore, BC, Fordham, and Loyola. So now I have five schools to choose from and I'm really only considering MVille and CUA. Rejection is a very sad thing I've learned, even if you weren't planning on going to those schools.
