In study lab now, that means I have two study halls in a row, which means I get to just hang out in here for a very long time. Life is good. Nothing of great importance happened yesterday, so I'll recap today.
English: Mr. Graham's post-midterm treat was to let us watch Frazier (the eppisode where he dates a woman who looks like his mother, Oedipus) and Giligan's Island where they do a musical version of Hamlet. Quight amusing.
Folklore: discussed urban legends. Was officially freaked out. Remember, when you come back to your parked car, always look in the backseat, and when someone tells you to check on the children, do it no matter what. The one that really scared me was the Welcome to the World of AIDS story. That was just freaky.
Speech: worked on colages and got partners for first project. I'm with Chris Morris.
Film: continued Snow White. Megan, Snow White's high little voice reminds me of you. Actually, you two are kind of similar. I can just imagine you running through the forest talking to the birds. Was comming up with adaptations to the story such as Snow White, or Who Invaded our Bachelor Pad, or Snow White and the 7 Gay Guys. Think about it. Why was grumpy always so grumpy. The bell rang before we found out whether Snow White would eat the poisoned apple, and don't you dare give away the ending.
Apgap: watched the theater department's rendition of Martin luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech and talked about racism. "Everyone's a little bit racist today ..."
Lunch: Elizabeth went to sit with Becky and Nancy, but she'll be back on Monday. I coerced Bopp into being my valentine, or my Valentine/sex slave as Jessica put it. Had fun talking about that of course. I started singing "Like a Virgin" and Erin threw part of her prezel at me and it stuck to my sweater. We talked about a lot of other stuff too, and at one point Richard Yam came over to sit with us because someone stole his seat and he probably thought we were all nuts. Which I guess we are. I think Bopp likes the whole Valentine idea. I hope so at least. Now I have to find him something. Oh yeah, and Marc was asking us what kind of flower he should give to this guy he likes. Will have to think about that one too, especially since it was the guy who reccomended Quiznos.
Chorus: worked on "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Mr. Farrell is doing a Performance Day on Monday where we have to sing both our songs without music. May God have mercy on our poor souls.
And now I'm here. I met Judi's sub yesterday. Her name is Pat and I think she's trying to impress me or something because she brailled up the Daily Anouncements yesterday. That's like three or four pages of unnedded brailling. i told her she didn't have to do that n the future. Because both of our schedules are so crazy, we'll only actually be seeing each other about twice a week, which I guess is all right. I miss Judi allready. Should e-mail her to see if the surgery went well. And now I'll go. Team/prayer meeting tonight and Science Olympiad tomorrow. And my grandma's comming down this weekend.
