So last night was the Kellenburg Christmas concert. It was pretty good I guess. My favorite group was the seneor band, and I'm not just saying that because Matt's in it. They did some really good stuff. The seneor chorus was pretty good too. Everyone came out for the finale like we do, but I like Haleluia Chorus better than their medley of Christmas carols. Then after waiting about a half hour for Matt to show up, we went home and I read The Velvetine Rabbit to Alliyah. I love that book and I think she liked it too but we didn't finish it bc it was getting late and she had to go to bed.
Now the Rhode Island contingent is on their way home, Mom and Dad are on their way to Cousin Betty's wedding, and Katelyn's downstairs valiantly tutoring my brother in math and possibly Spanish. His school has finals comming up.
My Progress Report showed up yesterday. Ms. Moran thinks I've "showed great improvement" and Mr. Farrell thinks I'm "an excellent to teach". Not bad. And I got a letter from Fordham. My aplication's been deferred to the regular decision pool so I need to send in my fall semester grades and my Act and Sat 2 scores. So I'm screwed unless my Aps improve, which hopefully they will.
Speaking of college, Amanda, you got into Emmerson. YAAAAAY!!!!!
And Dasha, congrats on being an official citizen of this country. Use that passport in good health.
