Went shopping today and bought some stuff at the mall. Mainly clothes that I didn't really want mostly. Bev's back from upstate and she's taking care of some kittens for a while. They sound really cute. But my day's been kind of depressing bc I realized I haven't gotten a talk on a retreat since Beth Anne left and it will be very hard if not impossible to find the perfect college that balances a great speech program where I can be certified to teach while I earn my masters and a desirable setting. I came to that conclusion today when I went to the Loyola website and found that they only have a graduate speech program, not and undergrad one. So that one's out. This leaves only Geniseo, Nazareth, and Hoffstra and I don't really want to go to the last two. And what's worse, school starts in a week and I'm nowhere done with my work. Maybe I should just drop this whole speech idea and be a communications major which would make things a whole lot easier.
