(no subject)
Today was uneventful. It mostly consisted of me attempting to install Rockbox on the IRiver, which has been less than successful. I managed to get the boot loader on there but was unable to extract the zip file containing the firmware onto the device because the IRiver wasn't showing up on the list of drives to extract files to. (it had shown up as a drive on the computer before) I tried re-connecting it only to find an error message that had something to do with the boot loader not working. Now the USB screen for the IRiver won't show up, even after doing a reset. Looks like I'll have to wait till I get back from Rhode Island to try again. Oh well, hopefully it'll work that time, though I doubt it.
