Recap Time
Hi all!! The past few days have been a mix of uneventful and fun. At school I got two tests back, both of which had really good grades. The semester will finally be over in two weeks, and I think everything will end very well judging from the grades I have already. Friday night was really fun, spent with various HKC Radio people. The Digital Domain was amazing, as it included not only the usual crew but two guests: Bob's friends Chris (don't know her last name) and Tina. Extremely amusing!! Later that night, Nick and I participated in Chris W's version of the Match Game on his show. Unfortunately, the other people he'd recruited didn't show up initially so we had to scramble for replacements. We managed to bring Candice and Scott (kc8pnl from the zone) on board, as well as Venison88 (don't know his real name), Jonathan (jdx), and a very quiet Australian Alice. The game itself was really fun. Scott and Venison were our contestants and the rest of us were on the panel, providing often ridiculous answers. Afterwords I hung out on HKC Radio's Ventrilo server and chatted away, mostly with Scott who'd been doing in internship on Long Island earlier this year. I also managed to publish a podcast that night, so now you can listen to my dad and I putting up our Christmas village. The subscription info and show website are in my user info.
We spent yesterday and today doing some decorating. Yesterday we put up the outside stuff, including the rest of the lights and our two wooden deer. We also decorated the rest of the den, putting Mom's Santa collection and Matthew's nutcrackers. Today we went and got our tree, a Frasier fir which isn't that tall but very full. We'll probably put that up tomorrow. Everything should be done by Saturday so my party guests can enjoy it. So far everyone I've asked is pretty sure they can come, though I'm still not entirely sure about Bob and Nef.
And finally, according to this thingy, I've been to 24 states. Not bad!!!
