HYesterday, Auntie Gina came up. She brought milk and brownies (woot!) and we worked on the routes from Spellman to the dining hall and Spellman to Bronson. Then Karen held a meeting for all of us students with disabilities along with someone from the counseling center and the guys from Campus Security. The counselor lady is starting a support group for us (um, ok), the security guys basically repeated what I've been hearing the last few days, and most of us decided to start a new club: The Manhattanville Association of Disabled Students or something like that, we don't have an official name yet. We're going to open it up to all disabled people on campus, and our first meeting is on Sept. 11th in Founders I think, that is if we can get the room. Most of the people at the meeting I already knew (David, Megan, Serena, and Caitlin M) but I also met these guys named Mike and Anthony who're really nice. After that I went to the club fair with Alison from down the hall. Clubs that I might possibly join are The Manhattanville Sound (an a capella group), Erase (a group that battles discrimination against anyone who's disicriminated against), Christian Fellowship, and WMVL the campus radio station. That should keep me busy. Today I had French and Communications. French was good, we reviewed er and ir verbs. I don't think I'll have much trouble with that class. Communications remains extremely boring, I think almost everyone agrees on that. Tonight is a barbecue on campus. I'm going with David and his friend Mitsuru (hope I spelled that right). Then I'm comming back here and going to bed early. I can't believe almost a whole week has gone by.
