Rhode Island was nice. Much shopping was done and it was great spending time with Grandma. But I'd much rather talk about today. Today I had Bob, Glenn, Krista, Megan, and Matt over for a barbecue. First we hung out in my den eating and talking and listening to U2. Megan brought her Book Port which is a really cool piece of technology. Then Bob said how Megan really sounded like Am, so we called Am up to test out this theory and foujnd it to be true. Those two have really similar voices. Even they thought so. While we were on the phone Am told us that in today's Mets game Pedro was pitching a no-hitter in the top of the eighth so we quickly turned the game on to watch. Then Bob asked if Pedro still had the no-no going, and what happens next? The next Dodger up hits a home run and so does the one up right after him. So thanks to Bob our best chance at a no-hitter and another fabulous Pedro-pitched game was jinxed and ruined. Thanks Bob. Even the Yankee fans were mad at him. After that we had dinner where we spent most of the time talking about the HKC Radio Network, the Internet radio station run by Nick and Glenn and on which the Digital Domain Online Radio Show with Nick and Bob appears every Friday at seven PM Eastern time. Yes, that was a plug, you can thank me later guys. And I mention you can check them out at www.hkcradio.com and in the Nut Hut lj? Ok, just did. Ok, plug time over. Anyway, they're expanding a bit and now Glenn will have a show on Wednesdays. I'm considering doing a show myself, maybe with Megan up at Mville since she was interested too. Will discuss that with Glenn. After that, it was concert time. Glenn brought his guitar and I hooked up my keyboard for Bob and they played several songs. I even got some improvised harmonica solos in. Krista sang "My Imortal" by Evanescence and another song by a girl they know named Lauren Echo, and they both sounded amazing. And I finally caved in and sang "Thank You" by Dido accompanied by Glenn on guitar and Bob on bongos. The whole thing was really fun, my parents came down to watch and so did Krista's parents and Nick towards the end. Most of it will be broadcast on the HKC radio site this Friday, so tune in if you can. After that people started to leave. Mom and I drove Matt home. I had some presents for him from Rhode Island: a Newport shirt, a baseball-themed magnet and frame, and a big box of saltwater taffy. He liked his gifts very much. Now I'm here, talking to Nick on Aim. Might go up to Mville tomorrow with Mom for suplemental mobility. And Tuesday I'm going to see Rent with Katelyn, Marc, and Julie. Should be fun. And speaking of Katelyn and stuff in the city, she got us Simple Plan tickets for November. Should be fun seeing them again. And now, a new feature on here.
