Loves Questions

Why is a broken heart,
such a tough ailment to cure?
Why do people say they love you,
even when deep inside they are not sure?
Why do three little words,
mean so much?
Why do we give away our hearts,
only for them to be crushed?
Why do people look straight into your eyes,
and tell you seductive and alluring lies?
Why do people tell you they love you,
when even you know it’s not true?
