Dang! I love it, except for the last line. It doesn't feel like a last line.

Yeah, it is kind of lame, now that you point it out. It doesn't have a punchline feel. Any ideas for improvements?

I fancy something that implies the Doctor is pleased at finally finding an intelligent pupil, but I can't currently fit that into four words.

Oh yes, that's definitely the first Doctor; I can tell that, and I've hardly seen him. Very amusing. :) Does Methos know it's the Doctor?
