It's so interesting to see people react to things like this so long after I first saw them. A fan-person is neither late, nor is she early, but arrives precisely when she means (or is meant) to.

I will say, from the first scene on the Asgardian ship, the first time I saw it I was completely thrown for a loop and didn't entirely find my footing again that whole viewing. It just didn't feel like an Avengers movie - the tone and basic feel of it was all wrong. On reviewings I latched more on to the things I did like (the whole dynamic between Strange-Tony-Peter is just delightful throughout for me), and as much as I cringe at the basic illogic of Thanos's "plan," I found his relationship with Gamora thoroughly chilling in a good way. (nods) Yeah. Particularly since Thanos wasn't considering his affection for her to be a weakness as villains often do. Then again, he didn't let it be a weakness.
I'm of two minds about the Soul Stone actually requiring one to kill a loved one in order to gain posession of it. That's kind of sick.
