I love my life right now.
Never, in the entirety of senior year, was I ever as content as I wake-up every morning here at Cornell. I came to that realization on my return trip from a lovely trip into town.
These past few weeks have been magnificent! I have independence, and an awesome class (which almost sadly will be over on Wednesday). I have amazing new friends, and still am in touch with the wonderful people who I loved back in high school. In fact, I've actually started talking to some of the people I fell out of touch with over the past couple of years, which is immensely cool.
Today, we turned in our first, and only, paper for our Religions of the World class, and our mid-term was last Wednesday (I got an 'A' on it!), so after we watched a video in class, which only took half of the actual two hours allotted for it, Emily and I went to go grab some tasty beverages from Fuel. Fuel is this awesome little coffee shop a couple of blocks from the campus. On the way over, we made the obligatory stop at Silver Spider, this awesome little boutique, and made a few cute purchases. Then, we got ourselves drinks and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, and sat and talked about things for an hour or so. Then we came back here and watched Oprah.
It's been a wonderful day.
I've also been making a lot of playlists lately. I made a Religion Mix, and I made one of things that Crystal and I used to drive around town listening to/songs that remind me of her/songs we definitely have to listen to in the car the next time I'm in town.
Cornell Democrats meeting tonight. Also, the season premiere of ER! And Gray's Anatomy which I've apparently been told I will get into.
Dum dee dum.
I love my life.
