reading tiny newspaper print on microfilm SUCKS!
Woohoo! I just got this baby new and unused on e-bay for $10.50 including first class shipping. I can't wait to receive it.
I spent a good 4 hours today going through microfilm of newspapers from the 1950s. I think 3 more sessions like that will yield all of the newspaper research I'll need for this chapter of my thesis. I'm feeling much better about it now.
I have 42 (secret of the universe!) exams left to grade before we turn them in Tuesday morning, but I told Krista I'd try to have them done by tomorrow afternoon so we can possibly put them all in seating chart order. My dog has been locked up since noon, so the first thing on my agenda is to go home for a couple of hours and let her out. I'm going to try and get 10 exams graded at home while doing that. Then I'm going to come back up here tonight and just do a harcore marathon grading session on the last 32 exams. If I don't let myself get distracted I think I can easily do those in 4 hours.
