the night before the last night
Went and saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire again tonight. It was much better the second time. I saw it at Alamo Drafthouse with Megan, John, and Krista. I had a Royale with Cheese, fries, and mint tea.
After getting home Megan informed me that she's going to have to call a raincheck on our movie night tomorrow night. I acted much less dissapointed about it than I actually am. I don't want for things between she and I to be bad when she leaves for India, and she's leaving in a few days. Tomorrow night at Rosebud's party will be the last time I see her until January, if not forever. *sigh* I guess this would be even harder if we had been dating for the past month.
So, last night there was icy rain and the temperature dropped down into the low 20s. For Kim I've looked up the conversion into Celsius. It was around -5 or -6 in Canadianese. Hehe... The windchill was 14F (-10C).
Anyway, so that's really really low for Texas. And it was a very sudden drop. The result is that I'm sick as a dog, hopefully just with allergies. Also, when I got up this morning to pick up Megan and Rosebud and take them up to campus (she has me SO wrapped around her finger), my car was so frozen over that I couldn't get the door open. I did eventually get going though, and then later on helped Megan de-ice her car.
Today, I cleaned my apartment in a way that it hasn't been cleaned since I first moved in. I mean it...I was throwing away and moving shit that was here from when I first unpacked when I moved in. I want to take pictures, but my camera is out of batteries. I'll hopefully get some tomorrow, though. I cleaned mostly because I wanted my place to look nice for when Megan came over, but it wasn't totally in vain. I did want to clean it before I left. I just never would've cleaned it as much as I have. Anyway...
I guess that's enough talking about my mundane daily activities and my very depressing love life. Updates to follow.
