The first two items are kinda old news, but i've been meaning to post about them for ages, and here they are:

Car Window Smashed

So yeah, Jonno & I were on our way home after a night out, travelling along Victoria Road. It's nighttime, and it's pouring down, noises abound: the windscreen wiper, the rain, the traffic wooshing through puddles, the radio, and us talking. But I heard a crack, and I glance back while driving, and one of the windows looks much more splattered with rain than the others. It took me a while to realise that's not rain splatters... the whole window is shattered in little pieces!! By this time i've gradualy slowed down and stopped. I'm quite annoyed.

So I take a side street and do a u-turn, hand Jonno my mobile and tell him to call 000. As we go past the scene again, there's nobody in sight, but nor is there any over-hanging trees or anything else which could have accidentally hit the window. And it wasn't hailing at all, so I'm betting it was someone throwing something from the side of the road. It was a fair few mins before we had made it back to where it happened, because it took me so long to realise, and then to turn back.

Anyway, when Jonno's finihed on the phone, the rain has subdued, and we survey the damage- the fixed-panel window at the back on the passenger side, is honeycombed with cracks, but the window is still holding firmly, with no actual holes in it. 000 told Jonno they'd send a patrol around, just to check, and to make a full report on the police assistance line when we got home. That, I did.

All up it cost me about $200. What fun.

Ok, that's enough for now, i've gotta go to work. Here are the headlines of the rest of it tho, i'll fill them in:
