Costuming: There IS no escape!
Mel and I were taking it easy this year, in terms of DragonCon: We cut our days back to Friday through Monday (instead of Thursday-Tuesday) and are limiting the number of costumes we bring, and decided not to do any new costumes this year.
Then, of course, my friend Craig decides that he wants to do a TRON Costume, and asks for my help with it. And he did this just last week, giving us little more than a month to put it together.
NOTE: This is not our work. Just an example.
Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in again.
This won't be as intensive as some of our previous efforts, and I won't be footing the bill for it, but I am in charge of making the designs on whatever armor/clothing/boots he picks out, either in reflective tape or paint. (EL Wire and Glow-Tape were excluded due to prohibitive cost.)
So wish us luck. I hope it don't suck.
