Harry Potter Projects: The Dark Mark
I'm seeing The Half-Blood Prince tonight, so here is one of my more popular projects: "The Dark Mark" that I created out of Electro Luminescent (EL) Wire for the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" book release back in 2005. Also made a great Halloween decoration and party-starter at DragonCon's "Harry Potter Yule Ball". I saw someone made one out of green "rope lights" like you'd use at Christmas on your house, and I thought I could do one better. This was my first project with EL Wire, and I was very happy with the results. As was the audience.
