You touch me like the wind
So softly yet so undeniable
I am so stubborn but in the end
You always move me make me malleable
Some things in life should not be shared
Sometimes is better being unaware
Complicated medications
Circumstancial situations
Black and white skipped the station
And failed to provide reparations
Swam into these murky waters
Now I flounder going under
You touch me like the wind
So softly yet so undeniable
I am so stubborn but in the end
You always move me make me malleable
Dying is a sweet sensation
A sure relief from relations
But drowning is so terrifying
Kicking swinging fighting
To survive
Never thought to travel here
On the road knew no fear
Just running yelling in the darkness
Falling with our eyes open wide
Everything that we do
Takes us closer to somewhere new
And when the engine gets to failing
The wind will move us home somehow
You touch me like the wind
So softly yet so undeniable
I am so stubborn but in the end
You always move me make me malleable
