the forth of july
i am a patriotic person. i thank all those who have served to help keep my country the way it is. i am proud to be an american. i appreciate my heritage. i am proud to have polish, irish, english and american indian in me. i love learning about other coultures and meeting people from other countries. it might be nice to visit other countries, but i am happy living in the usa. i watch some of the shows on lifetime and tlc and i see the big difference in what we have here in the usa, and what its like in other countries. just watching birth around the world, and seeing the way people have babies makes me so thankful i am here. i would not make it in another country. with all my medical problems and concerns, i would not be this to this age if i lived somewhere else. it is incredible to me that places can have such different medical care. with the advances of science you would think we would all be on the same page. people living in the usa are lucky. we may not always agree with what the government does or what politicians say, but we are aloud to have our own opinions. imagine if president busch went around with armed guards that would point machine guns at us and if we didn't chant and praise him, we would be killed. only in america can people have the freedom to live off the government that they so vehenemently hate. only here can we vote to not say the pledge of allegience to our own symbal of our country! where people can complain on what our money says and still make and spend it. we just don't know how lucky we are. we sometimes get blinded by our own opinions and don't see the possibilities we have here. even when we deal with people being predjudice over sexual orientation, i cannot believe in another country we could be as open or free with our expressions. yes, some places have a little more this or that, but we have alot of alot of things here. so even if it could be better, i believe it is better than most anyplace else. and if you don't think that, be thankful that you have the freedom to leave and go live whereever you think is better.......
