This is to say that I am still alive.
I am working a stupid lot, whether at my regular job, or at the barn, or for various committees and volunteer positions.
I am riding a lot and if you want more about my adventures with Tristan I am blogging them at beljoeor.blogspot.com.
I am reading a bit; not as much as I would like. In 2013 I ended up at about 75 books but 2014 will be a lower number.
I am baking and cooking and doing boring real life things like managing car troubles and paying off grad school loans and trying to keep my home liveable despite the boy that also occupies the space.
I am also watching and really kind of loving Arrow. We are up to 1x17 now, and will hopefully finish out season 1 in the week. It is a far better show than it ought to be, and I am told it only gets better.
Finally, holy crap, can we talk about how terrifying the slope style thing is in the Olympics? Aiiieeeee!
