rain
got caught in perma-rainstorm today. i just said goodbye to adam (after spending a really nice day with him and his grandparents...tower of london and all that jazz)and i was walking through oxford circus...i dont know what the hell was going on but there were people blocking up the ENTIRE area. and it was raining like a biatch. so i put down my umbrella (the one with the lady bugs that has a tragic deformation)and ploughed my way through all these people. i was soaked. completely.
so by the time i got through all these people i just gave up. i put my umbrella down and got even wetter and jumped in all the puddles. but not like stupid fake jumping...like really both feet off the ground straight into dirty city rain water. and the sun was setting and my hands were numb from all that wind and rain and everyone was in that mood they get when theyre going home- sort of happy but tired. So my hair was stuck to my head in a wet frizz helmet but i was having this amazing time. It was fabulous! so when i got home i just dumped all my wet stuff and got into the hottest soakingest best bubble bath of all time and read for like 40 mins. in the bath. i was EXHAUSTED after that-- in that tired amazing way. except i was buzzed on caffinated tea at the same time so it was a strange experience.
on a separate note- just watched some amazing stand up... funniest stuff i have seen in ages- i was DYING. quote of my life ::
