And we appear to be on a roll. If only one better day counted as such. Still, I can't help feeling that the actual writing of stories is making a dfference. The lovin' from mah kittehs ain't hurtin' either.

A/N: We are still keeping to an earlier track number = earlier on the timeline theme, though my belief that events between Sunnydale's destruction in this 'verse and Faith's being moved into Tara's abode wouldn't feature in these stories lasted only one day. This was track four on Relish; is set a little over a year after Tara destroyed Sunnydale with her spell, and roughly eight months after Faith, with the blessings of Buffy and Giles went walkabout.
"You're Leaving?"
Kid had stamina, Faith granted; eyes firmly on the rising sun.
Even killed a vamp by himself; once she'd joined in.
Hardly the first mark she'd fucked; by far the best.
Navy running back. Freshman at... some college hereabouts.
Boston accent had caught her ear.
She liked him.
As good as it had all been? Fight; kills and fucking 'til dawn...
"Time to go home," she spoke quietly, answering both their questions.
"How will I find you?"
She turned her head; unused to the question.
"I don't even know your name."
"Have Faith," she smiled, "and stay off beaches."
