Ah, this is lovely. I wonder what Spike is doing in Cardiff? And I definitely hope he sticks around for tea. What would he think of the rift? And what'll Jack think when he realises the 'vamp' bit is serious? I need more... ; you don't have to, but your fic is lovely, so I'll definitely be going through your archive.

And I appreciate how well you managed to characterize the relationship between Jack and John after watching just one episode? I'm impressed. Jack/John is very kiss with a fist and though I've not seen much of Buffy, I imagine that's something that Spike could appreciate too. Poor Jack is a very broken person, so I imagine he would latch onto Spike as a stand-in for John, at first, and Spike would enjoy the attention, but could it work in the long run...?

I'm with Elisi - you have a really great turn of phrase, very lyrical. It paints a sort of picture and the words work really well for an angstier piece like this.
