You got your freshmen, ROTC guys, preps, J.V. jocks, Asian nerds...
So going to the Macaulay Reception Dinner last night was...interesting, I suppose. Well, no really, it was actually very boring, and the refreshments weren't even that good. But I do love NYC and I love the American Museum of Natural History, and it was kind of cool to be there after-hours.
But upon arrival, and upon viewing all of the other accepted students, I realized that I had inadvertantly applied to a school in which the target students are:
a) Hipsters,
b) Cool Asians,
c) Ridiculously good looking, or
d) Any combination of the above.
And guess what I am?
e) NONE OF THE ABOVE.
GAH
On the bright side of the college front, SUNY Stony Brook has awarded me the Presidential scholarship of two years paid tuition! I also got accepted to Boston College yesterday and to Barnard College today!
On another bright side, my dear Joubert got the Bronze at Worlds! I'm so happy for him, maybe I'll do a little picspam tribute to him sometime soon! I just have to get all my photos organized...
