Les Vacances
ahahaha...
Every Tuesday at 10 AM, two workers at the Foyer come around and ask for the linen to wash (if you use their linen). The first time they did this, I had no idea what they were asking for, and Christine talked to them and gave them her bedding. Then they asked what the word was in English, and she said "sheets," which they initially had a hard time with. After we had closed the door, we could still hear them boisterously saying it down the hallway...then they disappeared...and 15 minutes later we could hear it again.
Just now was the linen exchange, and I could hear them saying "Sheeps!" outside my door.
Today is the second official day of vacation, Christine and Christine went to Spain. I am working on my personal statement.
I was invited to go to one of the English teacher's houses with the English teachers from one of my schools on Thursday for lunch/dinner.
Sunday, I am going to Paris for a grad fair...! Christine and Christine will be arriving that day, and my roommie (Christine M.) will be hanging around with me for a few days to check The City of Lights out.
