Oh god, I just got back from the gym. I am so out of shape. The stair machine nearly killed me. I feel pretty good, though! Hopefully I can make a habit of it.
raquhelnseaelf and I are gonna be awesome and work out lots and look good at nationals. :D
Speaking of nationals, we had minor drama over not being able to reserve a room, but I fixed it, because I kick ass. So now we have a room. No more drama. So far this week is going amazingly well.
I also got a book in the mail today from
PaperBackSwap (which is completely awesome, I signed up a few weeks ago and I've already gotten 5 or 6 books) that I've spent years looking for... it's a book of Christmas horror stories that I was obsessed with as a kid, but somehow I lost my copy, or stupidly sold it at a garage sale or something. Now I can has. Awesome.
I should probably eat, but I don't feel like it. I always have much less of an appetite when I'm being very physically active, which I suppose is good for weight loss purposes, but... all I've had today was a Lean Cuisine rice bowl and an iced coffee, so.
Oh, I have a new favorite Internet meme: Literal Video Versions.
This one for "Take On Me" is apparently the original, and the same guy also did
"Head Over Heels" and
"Under The Bridge". The third one is kind of boring but the second one is hilarious. 2:23 to 2:43 is comedy genius. Also, someone else did a
literal Rickroll. "Oh my God, it's Dolph Lundgren!" *ded*
Okay. Time to eat. Will leave you with a meme I stole from
oddreigh.
Put your media player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.
Call My Friends To Share Some Wine
A voice from your past wants to know you so very well
You've got your airplane, I've got the plain air of here
I've been meaning to tell you
The moment I said it
Looks like I've lost my will to carry on
Woke up today to everything gray
Knock, knock, are you alone?
The morning sun's about to break
She's got a pretty smile
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do
Out of luck and out of tune
Don't hold yourself like that, you'll hurt your knees
I remember it well
Azul palido
I comb the crowd and pick you out
I always believed in futures
I've spent too much time chasing windmills
Where do we go from here?
The ice is thin, come on dive in
Baby sneezes, Mommy pleases, Daddy breezes in
