(no subject)
First Post of Win(?)!
Maybe.
This will be my first attempt at blogging in, oh, forever. Didn't work out so well the last time. Let's see how this goes. Wish me luck, random users of LJ!
Fairly normal day today.
Was working from 9 to 4, and luckily wasn't on the register today. Which, of course, means it was a good day; fun and went very fast.
Parents left to go to a concert, and Lauren and I decided randomly to go see Pineapple Express (which was awesome, by the way, read on...). She came to pick me up and I ran out of the house, and as we went, I remembered that I never even told my brother I was leaving XD He probably wouldn't have noticed for hours, since he was on some online FPS, but I called him anyway. Fun convo.
Bro: Yo?
Me: Hey. I left.
Bro: ....Thanks for telling me.
Movie was awesome, druggies and lots of cursing equals fun stuff. Random scene with a bunch of asian drug dealers dressed all in black sneaking into a farm, and Jess and I both whisper at the same time, "Ninjas!!" Oh jeeze, shared brain syndrome again.
Went to our cafe afterwards as tradition states and we got a bigass rainbow sprinkles cookie. While walking through town we contemplated how to break the thing evenly among three people. Breaking it in half when it's just Lauren and I is simple, but breaking a stiff cookie into thirds is near impossible.
We gave up and I instead attempted to break it in half. And magically, somehow that broke it into three perfect, equal pieces.
MAGICALLY.
I still don't quite know how, and Lauren and Jess argued whether it was a moment of sheer genius or failure on my part, but decided on genius in the end because it got them cookie.
