We are having the most gorgeous weather right now - hot hot hot and sunny! Most unusual for Scotland. Sorry to those of you Antipodeans sunk in winter. (Mwahaha!)
Tomorrow is Gala Day, when the kids and I are walking in the parade dressed as Cybermen as part of a Dr Who procession (must make the final two costumes tonight; it involves the use of cardboard, cycle helmets and a lot of silver foil!) and then my daughter and I are supposed to be dancing on the bandstand, doing the Abba routines we danced in the show. :-/ I confess I'm not too sure about that. I'll wait and see how I feel tomorrow, but I'll take the costume along just in case.
Marking is finally over, thank goodness, just two resit exams to write and some exam boards to attend and then that's it, over till September. The downside is it means I don't get paid properly again till November, but .... well, that's life. *sighs*
Ooh, and I bought a new headset and mic today to replace the old one which broke. (Mind you, for a fiver, it did quite well - I pushed the boat out for this one, though, a whole £8! Wow!) So if you fancy a Gtalk sometime, just let me know! ;-D
