Masks...
While walking today I saw a dear freind of mine. Awkward is not quite the right word to describe the encounter. Painful is more like it. It hurt that I don't know that person anymore. It hurt that I don't know what is going on in their life. It hurt that the reason I don't is becuase they feel they can't be around me anymore. It hurt that we both put on a face hiding what we really felt...I pushed back my tears and they forced a freindly smile. Apparently I'm too far gone. Apparantly the only answer is distance. Apparently...I should do something about this...
