Day 1 - 9/09
Thursday/Friday
I got on the plane at 550am to Dallas. Arrived in Dallas, so awesome, cowboys <3, and then I finally met Briana :) meiko_michan , we talked for a little bit while we waited for our next flight. We got on and headed to Tokyo. LONGEST FLIGHT EVER. I was dying. Lol, and it was soooo bright out, I wanted to keep looking but I kept it closed. First movie I watched was Devil wears Prada. Lol. Other random ones were there too, they gave us lunch/dinner, and snacks. I think it made me a little sick though heh. Anyways, we arrived in Tokyo around 130pm, their time. From there we hurried to immigration, signed some sheets, then met this really nice guy from florida, he said "i see blue passporrtttsss", in the end we didnt get his name, but we talked to him a lot, he was studying for a year at some uni in Yokohama. Then from immigration we headed to customs, and I had to speak some japanese to some lady, lol, she was really nice though. XD. From there we headed to our gate, and OMFG WE SAW ORANGE RANGE, I saw them and was like :O, and people were taking pictures, my camera was put away ;__;. Waiting at the gate probably took the longest, just sitting and sitting. From there a bus came to Gate A, and took us to the plane. Then they said estimated time to Osaka Itami was like 45mins i was like :O. But it ended up taking like an hour. For some reason, only at that time, I couldnt stay away, I passed out LOL. Once we got to Osaka, we had to wait to get out luggage. Then run for a taxi lol, even though there were lots. We also got money from the ATM. After finding the right Taxi type, we me THE NICEST GUY EVER, he was soooo cool. Lol. And spoke enough english to us hehe. He took us to the hotel, and I got to site see, even though it was really dark!, so around 630pm we left the airport. When we settled in the hotel, we got ready to go out and explore Osaka. Such a good night, lol host guys on every corner, towards the end, we almost got "lost" XD, but we ended up finding our way. We also picked up some snacks from a nearby store, I bought some bleach cards ^_^, and some breakfast too. That night there was Toma's / Nagase's drama so it was on. Then I passed out again. XD
9/10 It was also Uchi's birthday when we arrived. I was sad I couldnt get internet anywhere that day :(((
Day 2 - 9/11
Saturday.
Woke up at 6am, and trued to be really quiet because Briana was still sleeping lol. I didnt have to be up until 915am T__T. So for those 3hrs, I walked around the room tried to find my cards that friends.family gave me. Then read Relient K's book. XD Then finally, I got to take a shower, and we left around 1020am to get to the Station. We took a taxi again, this guy, mm, he was okay lol, just really surprised at all our luggage. We got to the terminal, about 5-10mins later Sean, the guy we've been talking to forever, met us. I was like O____O "finally!" hahaha, and took us up to meet our families. Some australian guy was there too. XD Up to the 6th floor I think, I look and outside the room, I see the family, I get nervous lol, and slip outta my shoe, I had to stop and put it back on LOL. Then Takashi and everyone waved to me. From there I got my packet, and THANK GOD, they brought a car lol, I heard other things from other students aww haha. Haru of course hid behind Fumi. They talk to me, and yet all I can still say is UN (yes) or UUN (no), lol. I HATE THAT I UNDERSTAND MORE THEN I CAN SAY. So its still kinda been like that. Yes or No. Too nervous heh. They asked if I had eaten, I said no. We got home, they showed me my room, and is so cute! <3, and from there we went to walk to eat Ramen. LOL. I loved it! Came back, they wouldnt let me unpack, so I went to get some cold coffee, it was good :). I changed the channel, and kept it on this one girls drama. I hear Fumi mention Morning Musume, and then I repeat, and she was like OH YOU KNOW?, she said that's Naka...., then i was like NAKASAWA YUKO!?, and She was like YES!, and then I was like my friend from back home LOVES HER!. LOL lao4eva <3, she was like OOOOH. lol all in Japanese of course. XD thats probably the first sentence i said to them hahahah. Then we ended up leaving to the mall, to buy dinner. Nishinomiya Garden, it's HUGE. Like 4,5, or 6 floors I forget heh. We compared food, and I tried to find an adapter, but none. I even tried fish eggs i was like DX, and they gave mine to Haru LOL. Then I came home, and unpacked. After, I went upstairs and Fumi was making dinner. Then later, the party began!, Takashi's sister Mika and her husband, and their children Shun and Mai. Then the grandma Kuniyo came. Everyone was so nice. I love Shun and Mai, Shun is a little competitive in Wii though heh. Mai gave me a letter, really cute. ^^, theyre 8 and 10. For dinner we had Sashimi and Chicken and other random stuff haha. Really oishii. After that, I brought up my laptop, and showed them all the Japanese entertainment I knew about, they were like O____O so suprised/impressed lol. In a good way. After that we played wii party, and we also did karaoke, they recorded me singing NewS - Kibou <3 hahahaha. So fun, after I went to shower, and then came downstairs to sleep. Great day.
Day 3 - 9/12
Sunday.
I wake up at 541am. Then I get bored so I start practicing Kanji. Then later when they woke up, I heard them, so I waited and then headed up, and we talked for a little bit. I tried studying kanji, but ended up playing Wii again. Heh. XD We had lunch, and then DRAGON BALL KAI came one hahaha. I was like omfg, their voices. Then ONE PIECE came on, lol Evan!, after, Haru loves ponyo, and he put it on. Fumi and me did laundry, and went to hang it outside. Then, after, we get ready and Takashi told me they would take me to school, so I could find my way for the next day. We walk 10 mins, get to the station, ride it, get off at the second stop, and walk like 10-15 up this bigggg hill. lol. And then I see my school, really fancy. Haha. After Im shown around a little, Fumi shows up and we head to the car. We go to McDs, and it was soooo weird. Like, just different, lol, and packed, I got looks hehehe. I felt fat because I ordered a meal, and the kids only got some fries LOL, but I poured mine out to give / share too. The toys were Taiko lol. After, we went to Mai's house to pick up her homework she had to do. Came home, and they studied, I sat there, and looked at Shun do his math, towards the end, he got one wrong lol, and so I pointed at it, he started counting again and he didnt get it, so I said 7 in japanese he was like OOOH. Then showed takashi his sheet. After we played Wii again, see the cycle? XD, karaoke, then mario kart, then party, then Taiko, then we had dinner, i forgot what it was called, but we grilled in front of us, but no oil, like chicken, meat, onion, esparagus, squash, etc. Really yummy, then I watched Tegoshi on TV!!! XDD itskeitodesu <333 he was cute lol duh. Later they ate some more of the candy I brought and then had Yakisoba, i was like more food :O. THEN, the grandma brings her guiter LOL, and i played a little random stuff for them, and Yesterday by the beatles lol.. so weird. After, everyone takes a shower, I take one, head downstairs after everyone left, and sleep. lol.
Day 4 - 9/13
Monday.
I wake up alone, head upstairs and freshen up, try to eat, but I hear Takashi coming so I kinda hide lol, then rush downstairs and get ready. I came back upstairs because I had to brush my teeth... /fail lol. And he was there, I said goodmorning, and go in. Then head back downstairs, I try to unlock the door but FAIL lol, he came down and showed me how, then I left (LMAO ITS ALREADY GET BRIGHT OUT HERE NOW...), he said itterasshai, and I said ittekimasu, and he laughed a little. About 10 steps after I leave I remember I forgot my maps :D..., but I was like I GOT THIS. lol, and went on my way, arrived to school on time, and headed to the room. It's all good lol. First person I see is Erika, so cute in person LOL, really nice girlie ^^. Next mm, people started coming and coming, then Nic :OOOO, and he ruffled my hair.. lmao korean made me laugh^^, after I see Mike and I smile and me, and he's all like hey!, and taps my shoulder, we talk a little, then so sad all the p-course people all hang like theyre some fancy group >_>;, its all good though whatever. hah. then bri and elizabethe, i wave to tyler, and then i see amber, she headed towards the p-course people too. P-course students came 2-3 weeks earlier for a crash course, there was like 10/11 students. The people I knew, were all from the same program that we all talked online on facebook. I didnt realize Tiffany and Roger were there too till later lol. Then suddenly they take us to this other room, and tell us to start our exam. I started with kanji, i died I swear, it went so horrible I was not prepared. Sat next to Erika and Tyler though :D...
I kinda american-cheated, PFFFTTT TACTICS, we had two packets, I went to one to the other, because some kanji was written LOL... >.<
after that we had a break, it was sooo hot there. Then headed to listening comprehension, we also had interviews, I have no idea if I did well, but some people did more then I had to do TT_TT , not cool, or hm :( , I really dont care where I get placed, I just dont wanna do first level, I'd be totally fine with 2nd year. After the non-fantastic placement exams, we headed to lunch, then we chatted, Mike talked to me, and then we ate, and I talked with Nic, then yeah, basically socialized with people I knew. BUT OMFG, really nice looking foreigners ;) hahaha, One's named Stefan I think LOL. After lunch, we went to meet our Japanese Partners, in this HUGE lecture hall. I was like O___o; felt so awkward, like we were on display lol. But mine are realllyreallly nice ^^, Airi and Chihiro. :D, I felt bad for them because every other student was talking to them in japanese, and me to mine only yes and no, but yeah.. lol, they showed me the tour of the school, and stuff, then they took me home, and before we got home, we bought a commuters pass, i got one for 6 months, i think Chihiro said I return them after, or something? haha, i'll figure it out later. XD Then we we got here, I told them to come in, but Fumi and Haru were sleeping so Airi was like ii yo!, like it's alright, so they left, LOL. And then I showed them out, when back upstairs, made ONE SMALL sound with my glass of water by accident lol and Fumi woke up XD. ah well lol. Then me and Fumi, talked for the longest!!!!, about school, and financial aid, and so many random things, I finally started saying japanese sentences, and stuff instead of yes and no, like... she's learning english too, i still try to say it in english, if she doesnt understand then i say it in japanese lol. thats why I think i did bad on my exams, i speak english to them so they can practice it. since theyre studying it, everyone else's dont speak any english lol.. i got the one thing i didnt want, lol and everyone else got what they didnt want, but i love my family theyre so nice to me. After we talked, she started making dinner, then I folded all the laundry. then FAIRY TAIL came on, lol EVAN, and I was like laughing xD, then I went and got ready, for some reason I was super tired, I think it was because of all that walking, then Takashi came home around 8-9pm, I went and shower, then Haru tried to find me lol, Im so amusing to him, then I told them Goodnight, they were like O_O, so early lol. Then, I went to sleep around 9-10.
Day 5 - 9/14
Tuesday.
TODAY
Lol yes, I lose track of days. Because I went to sleep early...., I woke up at 4am today...., lmao. um.. and yeah, I was like I cant go back to sleep now. So i got online and checked everything. Fumi wrote me a letter about Pan and Juice LOL, and then I was like I need to blog, and since I have a journal, I write it down in bullet points, thats how I remember everything lol, my memory is dead. Anyways, its 611am now, and wow this took forever lol. But it was fun. It's already bright out. So I guess I'll go get ready. I'll hopefully? Blog day by day when I wake up early like this. My laptop likes to overheat, so I try to chat, from 6am-645am on skype, since 645am is when I have to get up. Lol. So yeah, um.. Oh I also wrote postcards to my partners. I hope they like them. Glad I get to see my friends today. Each day is really fun so far. Difficult but fun. and omg, I'm already feeling the effects!!, if you see my vocab change, it's me changing Japanese to English. WOW.... O____O, and omg, sometimes, I also randomly say spanish words TT_TT... LOL anyways, time to skype.
