So a few things have been going on with me. For those of you that don't know, I was in a huge and horrible accident. Oops. That was back on the 21st of January. I was riding along with Abby and Johnny in the Focus going to buy some food cuz I said I would cook stuff for people... and by cook stuff I of course mean heating up premade food. Yeah, not so much. The car just lost control, hit the snow on the median and the hood peeled up like a sardine can and rolled 5 times or so. By all estimations, everybody in the car should have been seriously hurt, or worse. So I naturally make the assumption that aliens abducted us from the car in mid-crash, and with their understanding of the space-time continuum, were able to slow down time and perform tests, and ultimately save our lives. Once done, we were all replaced in the car, exactly as we were, with the car all mangled. Thanks, aliens. *side note, i believe these aliens to be the same ones that were spotted over the Chicago O'Hare Airport in November.* Anyhow, I believe the aliens made a mistake, because they forgot to take a look at the Playstation 2, which clearly is the most remarkable piece of technology of all time. Not only was it the original design of the PS2 and still working, but it survived the wreck, even after being tossed and buried in snow. To this day, it continues to work. This is truly technology they could use.
No, but seriously folks, it was pretty horrible, and for a short time during the wreck I believed I was going to die. I would love to say I am comfortable driving or riding in a car when there is snow on the road, but that is just not true. So that really sucks... and on top of it all, I got to pay $100 to the state of Michigan for "driving too fast for the conditions" The good news is I went to court and at least made sure no points were added to my license.
I'm on spring break right now, which is kind of cool, because Zoidy gave me 3 days off in a row. I'm seeing everybodys facebook pictures of their spring break happenings and makes me wish that I were in Saint John's with Abby, but can't win 'em all I guess... so in the meantime, i just sit around in bay city and find random things to do. Like last night, Tyler and I went to the Arlington at around Midnight, and it was fun because all we did was play shuffleboard and eat popcorn... no booze. Turns out I am freaking amazing at shuffleboard. I sandbagged the first game to give Tyler confidence... I think he won 21-yoleven. As I quickly build up a lead and call him terrible he says "uhhhh duhhh DOI DURRRR, you have to DURRRR win by more than ten to call me terrible" NOT A PROBLEM. 21-10, S on a fat D... I know you love it. "DURR, better play a rubber match, no way I lose" FUCK OFF TYLER. 21-10 was the score again. By this time Jay Wisnewski is there and has purchased one of the hotel rooms for some random girl(who is completely unbearable), so be sure to make fun of him about that... but anyway, sloth had some keys and let us go all over the place in the arlington. It was pretty sweet, and I'd have to say my favorite thing was in the old bar area, which was downstairs, that said "No Vote in November, No Drink in December Stop Prohibition." Yeah, the building is pretty old and his boss was trying to tell me it is haunted. Which means... Who wants to go ghost busting? Eh, EH? we can Ouija the shit out of it, see what happens! Lemme know if your down... welp, see you later
