yay!!! I have a place to live.....
Today, I "bought" a new apartment!! I'm very excited about it!!! It's a one bedroom/ one bathroom.....it also has a den (with double doors) that I'm totally going to turn into a little home office/ guest room (which I'm super excited about). It has a walk-in closet in the bedroom....and a gigantic bathtub in the bathroom. There is also a washer/dryer in the actual apartment (so now I have no excuse for not doing laundry since it'll be right next to my bedroom). The apartment complex has a fitness center, a pool w/ a hot tub and waterfall, and a social room with a big screen tv and a pool table. It's like the coolest place ever!!! I can't wait to move in (which won't be 'til May because my lease at my current apartment won't be up 'til then). YAY!!!!!!! I'm a little sad that I'll be alone, but it'll only be for a year (because that's how long I'm signing the lease for....and then maybe I can move somewhere with Shannon....or...maybe someone else will need a roommate)....and I'm never home anyway....so, I guess it really doesn't matter.
I still am not sure if I'm taking Pippin (my cat) or not. I feel bad that Seamus will be with Shannon (wherever she goes)...and Pippin will be alone at the apartment a lot. It's fine now, because he has his brother and they entertain each other when I'm not around....but since that'll only be for the next 2 months, I think maybe he needs a home where he'll get attention instead of sitting in an apartment alone 'til I come home from work, eat dinner, and then shut him out of my room so I can go to bed. I know cats are probably okay with something like that....but he's definitely a cat that needs love, and I'm really not in the apartment very much with my busy schedule....so, I don't want him to have to be alone. I will be very sad, but I think maybe it'll be best for him (somewhere where people will be home...or somewhere where he can go outside....he'd love that!!) Does anyone want a cat or know someone that would like one?
