Actually it was a box of eggs! Welsh Harlequin eggs to be precise!
Here is one of the Harlequin eggs compared to my Buff/Runner girl's.
It was the coolest find. I happened to get on the forums on Backyard Chickens, where I hadn't been in forever, just in time to find someone offering a dozen eggs for just the cost of shipping. Welsh Harlequins are supposed to be very calm and good layers. They are really pretty too! So excited!
