First thing in the morning we decided to try Barley on carting....

As you can see, he was quite hesitant about the cart at first.

With a lot of coaxing and treats, we got him all hooked up and moving. We have found out that he is very touch sensitive, so I think it would take a lot of time for him to be comfortable with the shafts on either side of him.

Luna, on the other hand, seemed to remember and pick it up right away unlike the last time.

This is Luna's maternal grandma, Whoopie.

And her momma, Kess. The sweetest sheltie-girl ever.

Luna and her mom working sheep together.

Albert photo bomb! Charlie, the collie, working sheep in the background.

Princess Ajah, the herding Yorkie, working her sheep. No shit. My yorkie herds.

Cooling her heels after a hard day's work.

At some point, Albert decided he liked the flavor of Onions and started following him all over the field.

This Golem kennel's newest litter. Most attentive puppies ever.

Sonny pretending to enjoy duck herding. Really, he hates working ducks. All that quacking and flapping. He invariably ends up taking a wing to the face then throwing a fit, quitting, and storming off in a huff with a look like, "I told you I hated this, mom!!"

One damn fine looking Jersey giant rooster.

This is what a weekend at Claire's does to Luna. Pooped.
