stupid roommates
Okay, I just need to vent for a second. After 6 or so weeks of blissfully living here with my first roommate, our other roommate finally shows up. Here are the obvious problems so far:
1. She wanted to bring her brother and let him stay in our apartment - FOR FREE! How ridiculous is that?!?
2. She is a vegetarian, and is so strict with it that she won't let us eat from her dishes. Not a problem, except she doesn't ever seem to wash her dishes, and therefore the entire sink is full of her caked-on-food dishes, all of which I can't put in the dishwasher with the rest of our dishes. Totally gross.
3. It's probably one of the hottest days of the year - around 100 - and she turned down the A/C from below 60 (which it is set to because it doesn't work well enough to keep the room at 70) to something like 78. I didn't figure it out when I walked in, surprisingly, but was alerted to that fact when the A/C turned itself on because it was above 75 in the room. Which is entirely insane.
Okay, so she's lived here one night now, and the room is already this bad. I am so, SO not looking forward to this last three weeks in the apartment.

I can tell that this will be a......TRYING......few weeks. She apparently thinks my name is Terri(?) and she also moved my lamp to a different corner of the room and moved the sofa around. Like it wouldn't be a good idea to ask us about moving things, when we've been living here for a long time already. Perhaps the furniture is set up one way because it works better that way?
