A-Kon un-loometh

Thanks for the comments on the last post (especially yours, creogaudium. Delicious, delicious con-crit)! As an interesting note, the shells were the only things that weren't made by the five of us at the table, so yeah, they stick out a bit as not belonging but a friend wanted us to sell them. *shrug* And yes, agentmonk really loves tiny foods, so that's why we have a ton.

Commercially, here's how it all turned out:
~ All my Keyblades, including Photon Debugger, and Cap's shield sold in the first day
~ The wrenches eventually sold
~ Not a single stake was bought! I do not understand this one, since they're a lot of fun to stab people (or cats) with.
~ No rosaries, either
~ Or the knife, but I kind of expected that
~ Only a couple of spiders. Which is funny because everyone I show pictures to loves them. *more shrug*
~The shell necklaces sold a couple, presumably to people who had watched the show they're from (Mermaid Melody, for the record. I gather it's not terribly popular).
~ That one boring short sword I had left over from the last con finally went
~ The Buster Sword is still taking up room in my house. Ugh.
~ Steampunk jewelry did pretty well, but for some reason the most awesome pieces (in my opinion) with the gear mechanisms still intact didn't sell.
~ The various plushie foods didn't go over nearly as well as the internet would have us believe. All the fortune cookies went, but we still have a bunch of donuts, cinnamon rolls, and some cake left.
~ The Phone charms did fairly well, especially the fandom-related ones. PotaDOSes sold pretty steadily (one to a girl dressed as Chell!), as well as Pokeballs.
~ Stained glass (not pictured) didn't do so hot, but would have benefited from clearer labeling

I think that's everything of the stuff we actually brought (some of the pictures in that folder are older things/past sales. I'll get everyone's pictures together and show you what the booth looked like soon. Oh, and update the website, maybe.

Overall, we had fun and mostly made money (depending on the person's particular products and how well they sold, but I think everyone's more or less pleased).

cons, yotr, year of the rabbit
