My Aunt Merry called today and said that one of the presents in the Christmas package from that side of the family was, in fact, a graduation present that she'd never gotten to give me before and that I should make sure that it didn't get missed because it was small and expensive. So, after work tonight, I found and opened the small jewelry box.

See, this is what gift giving is all about. Finding the stuff that you'd never buy for yourself but is fucking awesome when someone else gets it for you without you asking, because they know you well enough. That's pretty freaking awesome.
