What I did on my sumer vacation
I watched: Iron Man, Get Smart, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dark Knight, Iron Man again.
I read: not nearly as much as I would have liked. Mostly Cadfael. And I'm looking for Avengers comics.
I made: fun things. I'll show you all later.
I went to: a psychic fair (which wasn't nearly as entertaining as I had hoped), Boom Land (my favourite store ever: so many fireworks...), the Video Games Live concert (second time I've seen it, this time in Austin), the 4th of July concert with friends, University of Texas to talk with a famous-ish archaeologist
I worked: at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where I did research for two new exhibits, rehoused a lot of artifacts, was a docent for Ancient Egypt and Geopalooza (a geology/rock and roll exhibit), and cleaned dinosaur bones. This required me to live in Houston, which, as my earlier post may have subtly implied, wasn't a great deal of fun for me, but julesce and agentmonk surprised me with a visit and I managed to take the Greyhound back home nearly every weekend, so that made life less miserable. And then there was tropical storm Edouard, which was not nearly as major as it was supposed to have been, but still.
I will: go to GenCon tomorrow, then the Field Museum afterward and hopefully Bristol Faire.
