You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

01. FIRST NAME
Ruby. After a great aunt, I think. It was a toss between that and Susan, which is now my middle name. I'm glad I am not Susan, as she was the shit one in the Narnia books, and also the name makes me think of librarians with little glasses and grey hair in buns who have three cats. Not at all cool. My aunt Suzie calls me Ruby Suzie sometimes which makes me sort of cringe inside.

Australia. Melbourne. Love it here. I've been to cities that never close down, from New York to Rome, and Old Londond town. Seriously, haha. Still call Australia home, always will.
04. OCCUPATION
I work for a casual waiter company. Pretty much, people call up saying "we need 5 food and bev staff here for this function" and then the company chooses some and sends them over. Pays well. Only been there for three days. Was working for another similar company before, but got dismissed.
05. PARTNER?
nope. and after this weeked, that is not changing for a long long time

not sure. I really don't like children, at all. Babies, I am ok with but I would be too sure I'd kill it by accident
07. BROTHERS/SISTERS
I have a younger brother and an older sister. My brother is called Sam, is 17, and a lot cooler than me, but he's got serious issues. Bi Polar, actually. We're really close most of the time, but he takes a lot out of the family. Love him to bits though, just not when he takes my stuff without asking
My sister is 20, and lives in Adelaide. She was adopted at birth and has Downs Syndrom. Her adoptive mother is lovely. Her name is Rebecca, and in all honesty, I try not to think about her much because she had a pretty serious stroke a while back and isn't expected to live much longer.

a cat, two dogs and a whole heap of fish.
my cat is old and whines and does not have all his teeth but I love him. His name is Mr Sophie because I found him up a tree when I was about 3 or 4 and thought he was a girl. The name stuck
my dogs are Emmy and Oscar, named after the awards, and they are crazy. Emmy is worse, she's been run over twice, by a bike and a car, and is still alive. She is a very odd animal. Oscar is a lot calmer, and likes to sleep in my bed under the covers.

10. PARENTS
Bill and Julia. My parents kick arse. Seriously. They have their problems, like how mum is sort of anxious about a lot of things and gets upset easily, and how dad is not nearly in touch with the mood of the family enough, but I love them both to bits. I have to look after mum sometimes which is not always fun, but she always returns the favour. My family is brilliant. We have problems, but we stick together.
11. WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS?

they both have to put up with me having whole months were I don't really know how to socialise and I get all caught up in my own shit and can't see past it, but in the end, they're always there for me. I don't think they really know how much that means. There are a lot of people who can't deal with that.
Sarah, who no one knows, I met at work and we are close, but something's causing a lot of strief between us right now. Doesn't help that I don't work with her any more so I don't see her much. I'm trying. We'll see
and Jayne from school, who can be a bit of a drama queen but who is amazing anyway.
Guy, who just finds my shit interesting and at times amusing. I play his shrink. It's fun
Also, Will. We talk about importent stuff on msn, but usually just see movies and play video games when we hang out. He's my geek friend
