*laughs and laughs* Somehow, I take pride in being the one to lead you into the path of bestiality via the Bible. (that, uh, sounded a lot better in my head ...)

I say, the old Bible is doing you proud!!!! this is delightful... I had to go and google and read the sequel...hahah. I'd forgotten - SPOILER!!! bathsheba and at first had thought ..ahah... The pillar of salt...

A wife should not have secrets from her husband.

That is why I am telling the wind, that it might blow these words to you now. I will face the north and speak the truth, and the whisper of my deeds will reach you and I will be absolved

Oh gorgeous, I love these. And let's face it, what choice did she have really???? eh?

SUPER, Keps. SUPER!!

Hehe, you're right, it could have been Lot's wife, too! :D I have to tell you, I am quite enjoying this more than I thought I would. I envisioned this being a really dry subject, but given free rein it's full of all sorts of mischief, pillars of salt notwithstanding. I hope I make it to week 4; I'll have to think up something really outrageous! *glees* Thanks so much for reading and for being so sweet to me.

Oooh, what a nice take on this story. I love that in your bible series, you don't change anything that happens, or even embellish the story. It is more the adding of thoughts and emotions to stories that are mostly fact based. I'd actually never paid attention to how much storytelling goes on in the bible, but how little of what folks are actually going through. I guess that is what happens with hand-me-down tales. I think this one deserves a sequel.

I'm glad you are liking this! I was worried that I was being lazy, and that I was not getting the thoughts and feeling right of these well-known characters. I know that there is more to the story in this case, but I wanted to catch her in the middle of this event, when she was surely torn and would have a lot of conflicting feelings.

I have SO MUCH stuff to tell you, but I haven't been online at all, or for more than 5 min at a time. I haven't forgotten you! Bear with me and hopefully I'll get to send you a catch-up note soon. I miss you!

This is almost enough to make me dig my old theology books out...except you are a better writer about things scriptural, perhaps because you seem to know the people in the stories as humans

Oh no! Did I get something wrong? I admit I am not an expert on the Bible. I know there is much more to the story, but I deliberately picked the part of her life before she became David's wife because I thought it was an interesting time to write about. But I would love to hear your thoughts about the details I may have been wrong about.

I am sorry, I did not mean you were wrong at all. Just that I have been ever so long without reading these stories and you inspire me to read the root sources again is all.

Then in that case, I say thank you.

And I really like your icon. :)
