Author: keppiehed
Prompt: "mirror"
A/N: Written for Quills. This is a tanka poem. It is a form of Japanese poetry consisting of 5 lines with the syllabic pattern of 5-7-5 7-7. Though the theme is often nature based, it need not be restricted to that theme, but it is important to incorporate metaphor if possible.

Ice of winter reigns
In the night, when stillness shows
Stars illuminate
Eternal mirror reveals
Sky in endless countenance

quills, prompt: mirror, poetry
