A big thank you!
I have some overdue thanks to send to some friends out there. The first person I would like to acknowledge is ultrasonicbop, who took some time before the holidays to do a crack edit for me. She spent a lot of time on this piece, shining it up and doing her best on my behalf. It required several revisions, and she really went above and beyond for a speedy, thorough edit that was as professional as I've had the pleasure to receive. In the end, I submitted this for a magazine, and it was only because of her help that I felt it was up to standard. So I thank you for your help, my friend.
The second person I'm giving a shout out to is the lovely and talented Starduchess, who very kindly wrote me a custom-ordered H/D holiday story. She has a heart of gold, and despite how busy she is in her personal life, she wouldn't rest until she could find a way to make me happy this holiday season. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such great friends, both these two and the rest of my flist. I can't tell me how happy you guys make me on a daily basis. All of the little things, all of the positive comments that we write each other, well ... it has just really given me back such a faith in people. I can't tell you how glad I am to be amongst such wonderful people whom I can call friends. I am a fortunate gal, no doubt about it. :)
