Shakerfield Springs - week 5
It seems like I'm back to my regular posting schedule, woot! Anyway, welcome back to Shakerfield Falls! Last time, Summer had another child, Blossom (who looks scary and may or may not grow out of it). Skylar and Cameron dated townies and both went steady with their respective townies by the end of the week. And Willow got a pet, Panda. Linden was boring.
Also, they got a new cat, Ladybug, who gave birth to the ittybittykitty Bumblebee.

Ladybug is still happy to live with the Bradleys. Lots of attention and many meals a day sure beats being a stray.
Nothing exciting happened that first day, but at 18:00 Blossom grew up.
She immediately ran down to jump on the couch. She's a playful child :)
She's still a bit odd looking, but I have hope!
Blossom's OTH is music, so her parents bought her a violin. Her first attempt at playing sounded dreadful, but she's having a good time non the less.
Skylar: "That's right Panda, tell me all your secrets"
Skylar got fat. Being a romance sim, she almost instantly rolled the want to get thin. Luckily there's a treadmill in the outhouse.
Speaking of which, there's also a robot building station. Cameron's OTH is tinkering and I want a Servo damnit! So he's been hogging that station like a boss.
Later I want him to open a robot shop, so all robots go straight into his inventory. This one is a bit broken though.
And that's a bronze badge right there! Only two more to go!
That night, Skylar sneaked out to go on date with Luke. She didn't get caught and returned safely home around 4.
Summer is still working hard to get her grocery shop to level 10. She sure dazzled the hell out of Lulu (simsforaranya)
I've made a few "special" townies with my new batch. As of now Freya (also simsforaranya) is a witch.
Back home, Tate (lovelyxwow) steals an old newspaper. too bad it doesn't count towards burglary. Also, what is it with Shakerfield's residents stealing papers left, right and center?
Eight (boolpropbea) likes to do the gardening. The new garden has a wild, natural feel to it, but he likes to keep it looking as neat as possible.
Bruce: "Excuse me! This couch used to be black! I don't like your remodeling!"
After school, Cameron likes to unwind a bit by playing bass (until I direct him to the robot station).
And Linden is left to deal with one of the downsides of adolescence.
This will be the last shot of Summer as an adult, it's only a few minutes to 18:00

Elder Summer. I'll admit I was a little sad to see her age.
Cameron: "So, how was your night out? I saw the limousine. Classy, Sis!"
Skylar: "Shhhh, you dumbass, mom is right over there!"
Eight has no objections to dating elder women. They're still all over each other.
(In case you're wondering, Eight has three days of adulthood left, Summer is just a little older)
Summer went out for an evening stroll and "found" this statue, which is easily one of the weirdest things to find when hiking. Not to mention heavy. Summer must have REALLY wanted it.
Summer's Fruits 'n Veggies has reached level 9! Juliette (lovelyxwow) is in the process of being convinced bell peppers are the coolest thing ever.
That good witch spell isn't nearly as pretty at night, but it's still pretty.
Skylar brought home Kewpie (bondchick_nett). Unfortunately for Skylar, they didn't get to spend much time together. Kewpie and Willow don't seem to like each other much.
Why yes, that is Kewpie and Willow in that cloud. Cameron watched the whole fight, swinging back and forth between entertainment and horror.
Kewpie won this round.
Cameron has earned his silver badge and build a munchiebot to celebrate. I was so tempted to turn it on, but I put it in his inventory for now.
Summer is still pretty cute as an elder y/y?
Bumblebee grew up! As you can see by the nearly disapeared confetti, I almost missed it.
Bumblebee is a pretty cool mix of his parents, Bruce's eyes and Ladybug's coloring, except for the body, which is a lot lighter.
Summer: Look Eight, they're playing! Aren't they cute?"
Yes! Second level 10 shop in Shakerfield Springs.

Okay, I'll stop now...
I'm thinking about putting Bumblebee up for download with the quadruplets.
All that tinkering earned Cameron a genie lamp. I'm putting this in his inventory, it will be a nice start up loan for his future shop.
Eight spends his last day as an adult sleeping on the couch. Blossom is studying physiology next to him. (I'm trying out simsforaranya tip).
Elder Eight! Damn, I'm going to miss him when he dies :(
Cameron is glowing! Also, he earned his gold badge, but I don't have a picture of that. (Which I know I made, so that's odd. There was a pop-up with some funny stuff about being able to build a servo now)
Another special townie, werewolf Cloe (lauriethemuppet).
Apparently, werewolves like to keep up with current affairs.
Blossom practices her violin play every evening after homework.
She's been playing so much this week, she earns a membership to the hobby lot. Blossom is the first child in Shakerfield Falls to accomplish this. I'm guessing I'll have her enthusiasm maxed when she's a teen.

And last but not least Cameron.
They all moved out that very night. Cameron took Bumblebee with him, Bumblebee likes Cameron best and I thought it would make the poor cat sad if he left. When Blossom reaches adulthood I might set up a poll to determine who will get to live in the big Bradley house. Next week Eight and Summer will take a little trip to celebrate their golden anniversery and host a party when they get back, fulfilling Eight's LTW. Summer's LTW is to have 6 grandkids, so the quadruplets have their work cut out for them.
Lastly, Cameron's girlfriend Paddie aged up with them, she's cute and I want to keep her with Cameron :)
And that's it for this update. It wasn't very exciting but exciting things will happen to Shakerfield Springs:
- Since Xavier Glass moved out he became the 4th household, earning a new community lot.
- The four Bradleys out and about also earn a community lot.
- Which means two new CAS sims
- and also means a spot will open up in Architecture.
- and also also means one sim will be able to enter the political career track after week 6!
