Shakerfield Springs - Week 3

Last time, the quads all had their birthday and Summer opened her store. That's about it :)

Monday morning start early for Summer. Preparing breakfast for four kids plus one hungry spouse is no easy task. It's also a task she can't trust "I might be called Eight, but I only have one cooking skill point" with. Some unknown force is telling her fires are good, but she'd rather not risk it.
Skylar is the first one to be awake. Waiting for breakfast, she kills time playing their brand new Tower of Awesome. Eight and Summer bought this for the kids after making some profit with Summer Fruit & Vegetables.
Daily breakfast ritual at the Bradley home.
Linden: "I'm so happy we all get along! We're all such great friends."
Summer: "What are you talking about? You're only best friends with Connor."
Willow: "Watcha'doing?"
Skylar: "I'm baking a muffin. It's going to be awesome."
Willow: "Can I watch?"
Skylar: "Suit yourself... stalker..."
The muffin of awesome was, sadly, not quite so awesome.
Willow didn't do much better.
With the kids off to school, Summer and Eight head to the store. Here Summer earns her silver sales badge.
Summer: "These oranges are the BOMB! the next time you think about orange, you will think of these."
Jeremiah by rhiannon_alexis has to think about it.
Now that he doesn't have to stay home with kids, Eight (boolpropbea ) is in charge of the register.
Other customers that day include Adam West by obliviouspoo and Jocaste by simcerly
Eight: "Uhm, excuse me Miss! Do you mind not standing in the merchandise while making your decision? Thank you!"
Back home, Summer entertains herself impersonating ants.
She also worries a lot.
Summer: "I really, really, REALLY want another child. Just one more. Five kids would make me truly happy."
She rolls the "Have Baby" want every day ever since the quads grew up to toddlers. So does Eight. *sigh*
Cameron brings home a friend from school, Fidelity by bondchick_nett
Just another day in the Bradley household.
Cameron is also in this room, he's behind the laptop in the corner.
Eight's LTW is having a golden anniversary. You can't have one of those if your not married. So Summer and Eight have a small private ceremony in their bedroom.
To celebrate this event, Eight buys his family a cat. Meet Bruce!
Bruce is adorable. The kids love playing with him.
Scott: "I'll have some of these and some of these. Oh look! Gotta have me one of those!"
Eight: *sigh* "How did I get stuck with this job again? I'm not the nature sim in this household!"
So Summer helps her husband out.
Bruce gets more than enough attention. Poor kitty can't walk two steps without being picked up and cuddled.
That evening Eight (autonomously) tucks in his kids.
Eight: "This is my bed, you know? But it's okay. Sleep tight!"
Summer: "Oooooooh, apples"
And then, some borkage ensued.
When Summer and Eight went to the store, this lady was behind the counter.
Though the game states Summer as the owner, all the business related stuff is gone. There's no way to interact :(
So it was demolished and a new store was build. Don't get attached. this one borked too. So I exited the game and reloaded.
Wait! You all are where now?
So curious me clicked yes. It was the weirdest thing. Summer's shop, with NPC and borkage in the witch neighborhood. WEIRD!
I got them out of the lot, thankfully. And after deleting some hacks and testing in another hood we should be good to go. Sorry about the picture-rant. Have a cute picture of Skylar picking strawberries.
Bruce grows up!
and Skylar plays with him, as some sort of birthday party.
Skylar: "Remember when we went to the Witch Palace? That was so cool!"
Cameron: "We didn't go to the witches, Skylar. It was borkage."
Skylar: "I hate you..."
Upstairs, Summer gets her dirty talk on.
Summer: "... and you let them simmer for a few minutes. Be careful not to break the yolks."
Eight: "Ooooh baby! You sure know how I like my eggs. Tell me more!"
Downstairs, Linden and Willow become best friends.
Linden: "Hey Willow, do you know what time it is?"
Willow: "No?"
Linden: "Birthday Time!"
Aside from some locked careers and Cameron having to date all of Shakerfield Springs (and then some) noting too bad :)
