Thank you for your submission to Voiceworks.
Each issue of Voiceworks receives a large number of contributions from writers and artists from around Australia. The process of selecting work for publication is very challenging for the Editorial Committee. This issue we received submissions from more than 200 people.
The committee enjoyed reading your submission. We generally agreed that ‘Constellations’ was the stronger of your two poems. It contained some impressive imagery, although some of us found it a bit too long to be truly effective. Perhaps in another draft you could focus it into a sharper, tighter poem. Unfortunately we were unable to include your contribution in this issue, but please submit again in the future.
