Cleaning house
So I decided to clean house in more ways then one. I started by deleting a bunch of my previous posts. I'm tired of looking back and only seeing me complain, complain and did I mention complain? It's sad when you look back and realize that your life has amounted to much because you let things bring you down. So all that crap is gone and I'm happy about it.
So what's next.. I cleaned my car.. I dunno if I ever mentioned that I got a 2007 PT Crusier or not. Not that it really matters.. but I like it. It's roomy and it gets great gas milage which is very nice especially with driving 30 minutes (one way) to work every day. Anyway so I vaccumned, steam cleaned and scrubbed, wiped and rinsed all surfaces :) It's all pretty now yay! -does happy dance-
Next on the list is the entire house! Yes, the ENTIRE HOUSE!! This isn't just some ordinary spring cleaning.. this is the real deal because I'm moving! Yay! I'm finally getting out of this stupid state! I cannot wait.. although I'm not as thrilled about where we are going. We are moving to Huntsville, Alabama... I guess it could be worse. At one point we thought we were gonna move to Naples, Florida. That actually woulda made me happy because a new friend of mine would have been able to come visit me. He's an Air Marshall and could fly down to Florida cause I guess the place he works for has offices there.
So my momma got a job. She's gonna work for some company called WestStar. She will be traveling around to different Army bases and such to teach people how to use certain programs and to educate them on new releases/upgrades of the program/software. The guy that hired her said worst case scenario she would be gone 2 weeks a month. The nice thing is that I'll get some alone time finally. I need time away from her. You know thinking about that made me realize that when I find a man that I want to marry and have children with it would be realy nice if he traveled for work... you know.. being gone a few days/nites a week would suit me just fine lol. I'd get my alone time, my WoW time and if we had kids, time with the kids. It would be perfect! lol
Anyway.. so that's my Spring cleaning... We started packing stuff up yesterday. We ordered a POD, it's one of those shipping carriers that the moving company drops off at your house, you load it at your lesiure and then they pick it up and drop it off at your new house. So as soon as we get that we will load the dressers (gonna use the drawers and storage), the couch, the tables, the exersice equipment, the hutch, the kitchen island and any other bins/boxes we have packed up. That will allow us more room to pack, more room to clean.
I can't wait lol.
I know that I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff. I plan to give half of my Barbie toys and stuff to a co-worker for her granddaughter and the other half will go to my cousin for his two little girls. Then anything else that doesn't fit into the theme for my room will go to goodwill or see if my momma wants it. I want to just get rid of stuff.. I'm tired of all of the clutter. I'm tired of having stuff in boxes in my walk-in closet that I don't need. I mean obviously if I haven't used it in years then I don't need it.. right? lol
Hmm.. I guess that is it for now. Gonna hop on WoW and play for a bit.
