So, Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays, if you prefer), internet-type entities!
It wasn't a particularly good Christmas by direct comparison, but I will take what I get.
Gifts were great, I got dapper shirts and awesome books: Moers' Schrecksenmeister (Yesssss scaredycats!), Safranski's newest book about Weimar Classicism, and, best of all the surprisingly hard to get
Golden Pot.
I managed to land some pretty good surprise gifts as well, especially with Henry James' Benvolio, which my mother really wasn't expecting. Except my father managed to one-up me by pulling out the Historical Atlas of Middle Earth, which I hadn't even thought about. All in all, we're gonna have some good reading on our hands for the next weeks.
And, of course, feasting. I should get back to either sleep or work, I guess. Have a fun and awesome celebration, y'all!
